Costa Rica´s best coffee!!!

Don Mayo Coffee Mill (Luvima de Tarrazú S.R.L.), very proudly received from Cup of Excellence contest Costa Rica 2009, the FIRST PLACE for Costa Rica´s best coffee, after a wide selection of coffees from all the country. This selection was made by judges from Costa Rica, United States, Europe and Japan.
This prize was given to Bellavista farm located in Llano Bonito de León Cortes, which belongs to our family. With a height of 1.900 m.a.s.l. and the variety is 100% caturra.
This farm´s coffee was prized for its qualities including: great body, citric acidity and honey-like sweetness, that allowed it to be the best and receive the distinguished PRESIDENTIAL PRIZE, that is given only to the FIRST PLACE.
We are sure that this prize was achieved for all the well done work made, which is a result of all the care given to the plantations and the entire process given in our milling plant Don Mayo.
To us, this prize means a compromise to maintain these quality standards for future crops and complete satisfaction of our customers!
